When you are strapped into the Ironman, its holds you very securely, and you don't feel as though you'll fall out of it. The base is also very well made and very sturdy. Only negative thing we'd have to say is that it does not have a 'stop' to hold the table in place as you get into it. We were very happy that it did not require a ceiling more than 7ft high, as we wanted to use this in our basement. There are 3 people using here, and the adjustment for our different heights is easy to use. We are very happy with the Ironman, and it gets daily use in our home. My wife has back and neck issues, and this gives her a great deal of relief.
